Within the limits of the Calamiteitenfonds guarantee scheme, the trips published on this website are covered by its guarantee. This guarantee means that, as a consumer taking part in a trip organised by us, you:

• receive a refund of all or part of your travel costs if we cannot carry out the trip, or cannot carry it out in full, as a result of a calamity;
• are reimbursed for the necessary additional costs if we have to change the trip or repatriate you early as a result of a calamity.

A calamity means an abnormal event caused by conflict-related violence (known as “molest”) or a natural disaster. See www.calamiteitenfonds.nl.

Stichting Garantiefonds Reisgelden (SGR)

Oleander Travel B.V. (KvK 51345269) is affiliated with SGR. You can verify this at www.sgr.nl. Within the limits of the SGR guarantee scheme, the trips published on this website are covered by the SGR guarantee. This guarantee assures you, as a consumer, that your prepaid travel costs will be refunded if the other party cannot fulfil the agreed services because of financial insolvency. If the agreement also includes transport and you have already reached your destination, arrangements will be made for your return journey.

Booking without a flight

If you book your holiday without a flight (you book the flight yourself), please note that the SGR and Calamiteitenfonds guarantees apply only to the accommodation and other services booked by Oleander Travel. In the event of a calamity, the Calamiteitenfonds reimburses only the services booked through Oleander Travel; repatriation is not paid for.
