Family holiday in Cyprus
Cyprus may well be the most child-friendly island in the Mediterranean: short distances, safe shallow beaches, and Cypriots everywhere who adore children. This sample trip combines a fixed, quiet base in the west with day adventures that children and parents will remember.
Highlights of this trip
- Snorkelling and playing in the calm bay of Polis and Latchi
- Spotting sea turtles at Lara Beach, the turtle beach of the Akamas
- An adventurous walk through the Avakas Gorge, between walls thirty metres high
- A boat trip to the Blue Lagoon, with a swimming stop in crystal-clear water
- A day in the mountains: waterfalls, a forest picnic and fresh mountain air
- Ice cream and fresh fish in the nostalgic little harbour of Latchi
How your trip begins
You arrive gently: the first days are just beach, pool and exploring the little harbour. Then you build up the adventure with a boat day and the island's best child-friendly walks — all within ten minutes to half an hour of your base.
Your trip, tailor-made
This is a sample trip: we adapt the programme to your children's ages, your energy and the season. Niki knows the family rooms, the quiet beaches and the tavernas where children are welcome — and works it all into your personal travel proposal.
When to go
May to OctoberBeach days and active outings
The warmer months work well for swimming and boat trips. June and September often feel calmer than peak summer; in July and August we plan active outings away from the hottest hours.
We adapt the day plan and activities to the weather, local conditions and any seasonal opening hours.
